Origins has moved minis into the back at Hall F, so that we aren't overwhelmed with the card and board game manufacturers areas (no dig on them, but they are very large, showy and have enthusiastic players).

F hall so far has been great. The dock was right there so load in was pretty darned easy.

Load in you say, what is the big deal, a couple of boxes of figs and a cloth for the table and done, right?

WRONG!

No table for me this year, a 20 X 20 floor space instead! Three main areas of human structures, Casa Leiningen (with a Tiny Charleton Heston and Eleanor Parker!) the small village of San Juan and its ancient Mission. The plantation is Monday Knight Productions Hougomont and the Mission is Blue Moon's Alamo. Trees and some roads are Adventure Terrain. Rock Walls are from Gaming Models. The hedges are dollar store goodies. The main road is from Hallowed Ground. Rivers are Armorcast, of course. I can't recall where the village came from :-( The Bridge is Airfix.

Thursday will see the beginning of play as the hive rushes forward. Can humanity stop them? Will the 160 stands of refugees I put together become just so much food for the Hive larva?
