I'm going to be painting up a pair of sdkfz251s and some 105s and need a tutorial on achieving a decent tabletop quality. I'll paint them tan as a basecoat and airbrush some brown and green (on the halftracks). I have access to Army Painter medium, black, sepia, and burnt umber inks, Futura wax, and a few boxes of pigment powders. So, I have several products at my disposal but don't want to spend a lot of time on these. Has anyone done a job like this and coated the entire piece with AP or a wash and had good results? Thank you for any help.

I don't use anything fancy. All my paint is Liquitex tube acrylics and the occasional jar of Tamiya acrylics. I prime white or tan, brush on base coat and any camo. Then wash with very dilute Mars black. Finally, a damp brush of Unbleached titanium. I think they look fine for the table.
