Building up to the ork dex release, flash gitz are now up for pre order

Honestly price wise not bad, only a wee bit more expensive than terminators for similarly sized models. And oh my thats a lot of dakka! I dont even know what half the parts on the sprues are for! And the parts will also be useful for pirate orks (which of course theres plenty of unofficial conversion bitz out there already)

Hopefully their 7th edition rules will make them worthwhile

53.00 for 5 minis…good grief!

Mithmee06 Jun 2014 1:01 p.m. PST

Yup and Jake thinks that is not a bad price.

They come out to around $11.61 USD per figure more if you add in shipping costs.

Oh and that is a horrible price for just five models.

Bob Runnicles06 Jun 2014 1:15 p.m. PST

He's comparing them to the similarly sized Marine Terminators, which are also $50 USD for 5 for a lot less bitz. I think they are expensive myself, I think $35 USD to $40 USD would be been a better price point.

By the way, who still pays full retail for GW? I automatically factor in a discount to any price I see for GW lol….

All those bits and gubbins and the minis basically look identical. I miss the old days of Rogue Trader when orks carried really zany weapons.

Bede1902506 Jun 2014 1:54 p.m. PST

Such a dumb argument…..

Yes… they are expensive, but you can also buy a set of NOBZ for $25 USD and modify them with the extra stuff into more Gitz.

Mithmee07 Jun 2014 2:30 p.m. PST

Or I can use my Ork models that I got 20 years ago and field a complete army.

Your they aren't Flash Gitz but they did cost me over $11 USD per figure either.

haywire09 Jun 2014 6:46 a.m. PST

Actually… are the Nobz sized or standard ork sized

BrotherSevej10 Jun 2014 2:02 a.m. PST

These models are truly like customizable character models so I think the price point is decent. There's like a gazillion of bits there.

Infinity troops are priced roughly the same (sometimes more!), but I found GW models are lot more fun to put together.

Someone gifted me the Sternguards, and boy, they're fun!
