"At Eurosatory 2014 in Paris, Rohde & Schwarz will showcase this tactical vehicular radio as a central element for use in mobile platforms and as part of battle management systems (BMS) from various manufacturers.

The R&S SDTR is an open platform based on the software communications architecture (SCA) standard. This makes it possible to port both standardized and proprietary waveforms to the radio, enabling interoperability with allied forces as required during missions. In combination with the R&S HDR high data rate waveform family, the R&S SDTR can be customized to meet the requirements of the particular mission scenario. An external control unit can be used to remotely operate multiple vehicular tactical radios both from the R&S SDTR and R&S M3TR families. The control unit has been optimized for great operating ease and flexibility…"
