…would anyone be interested in nineteenth century paper armies?

Or perhaps if you already have rules, or other rules in mind, but no figures/armies researched, bought and painted yet, this might be a low-cost option for you?

The existing Grand Manoeuvre Napoleonic rules and paper armies are at:

FWIW, I purchased, and am VERY happy with, the ECW & ACW paper troops from Billy Bones. While I am still finishing up some metal 28mm ACW, I plan to go exclusively with these troops for ECW and ACW games over the next few years.

I have become quite a fan of them as I like their look, ease of print out & assembly, and the fact that they come with matching period terrain to complement them.

PaperTerrain has already done ACW. Someday I'll get to FPW.

I have been tempted by them.

I have used paper when I needed troops fast, or to try a period on the cheap.

Those are some nice looking buildings for 6mm Scott…

But Grand Manoeuvre paper armies are in 6mm scale and take the form of blocks rather than cut-outs.

I`ve already got some ACW troop blocks done and I might start work on Franco-Prussian War armies next week…
