Hey people, My Google Fu has failed me, I cant find anything that gives me exact numbers for the The US Army, Air Force or Navy at this time. I'm sure this information is out there, but I can't find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks! |

When we ran an ACW2 campaign a few years ago I looked fairly hard at the organization and numbers for '33 and apparently even Congress was unsure – their was suspicion of fraud on the part of the army and national guard numbers. |

In the fourth volume of Lt Col Steven E. Clay's "US Army Order of Battle: 1919–1941" there is an appendix listing overall strength of the Army. The 4 volumes are an amazing compilation: link And scroll up to just above the "Staff Rides" section. Ed |
