Interesting article that addresses "After more than a decade focused on combating Islamist militancy, Western military planners are once again contemplating potential war between major powers – and how to prevent one happening by accident."

Russia, China are mentioned as are the potential "Flash Points" as are the potential China/Russia potential triggers.

Where the article misses the mark, it doesn't mention Pakistan, India, nor does it consider the potential "Terrorist state" that conducts an attack blaming it on another state or one of the big ones.

In an attack on the US, imagine a Nuke stolen and utilized in one of the border US countries, who have next to no nuclear controls on their borders.

The US Army is studying the Atropia scenario along with some Navy and Marine involvement. Any interest in this 'fictional' unclassified scenario?
