I would like to add some armoured vehicles to my small sci-fi force in 28mm scale… what are the cheapest and cutest options? I browsed ebay looking for cheap wh40k vehicles, but I would like to spend a little less… thank you for your advice.

Look for some cheap toy tanks to convert …

I converted some WWII stuff in 1/48 scale easily and successfully (T-34 and StuG III) As well as a modern Israeli Merkava. Picked up each kit for less than $10 USD on ebay.

Some of the green toys soldier tanks work for sci fi .

Toy Soldier Depot toysoldiersdepot.com has cheap plastic toys that make great conversion. Make sure you are getting the right sized vehicle though, the size/scale is usually listed, but it is fairly easy to order the wrong one.

How about Kryomek from Scotia Grendel? Pretty cheap, smallish resin beasts that come in wheeled, tracked, and ground effect variants.

They're not tanks, but this place has laser cut transports and apcs for $20 USD

These tanks (on left and right of photo) are 108 yen (about US$1.15) each in Japan. I bought about 10 of them last time they were in stock. Their footprint is almost identical to a GW Rhino.
