I suggest a mass walk-out until the feature is returned. If folks stop visiting the site, that will be the most effective means of drawing attention. |
Hey You | 31 May 2014 9:19 a.m. PST |
I drop by once a day and check to see if it's been turned back on then leave. |

Strange I stop by everyday and go through the new posts and the message boards that I follow and get along just fine without the Ignore feature. But then I come for the gaming and miniatures, not the conflict between members. |
Broglie | 31 May 2014 10:37 a.m. PST |
I check the TMP page every day as well and I too come for the gaming and the miniatures, not the conflict between members which is precisely why I am looking forward to the restoration of the Ignore facility. |

I hope it never returns it slows down TMP loading pages and just for a hand full of you Tango haters it isn't worth it. |
Intrepide | 31 May 2014 1:29 p.m. PST |
doug redshirt, that seems to be working for me too. |
Russell120120 | 31 May 2014 6:08 p.m. PST |
I am very disappointed that it is not functioning. |
Robert Kennedy | 31 May 2014 6:56 p.m. PST |
Wow. Funny how I have not had any problems at all with the site either with or without the Ignore. |
Pijlie | 01 Jun 2014 5:15 a.m. PST |
It was too good to last long. Let's hope it returns some day. |
Arteis | 01 Jun 2014 5:30 a.m. PST |
Yep, I am keen to see the Ignore function working again soon. I have plans to ignore quite a few people whose topics I'm not particularly interested in following. I've nothing against any of these people personally – but I never click on their topics anyway, so I just want to tidy them off my front-page (maybe I'm a bit OCD!). |
Toronto48 | 01 Jun 2014 8:22 a.m. PST |
Please Bill bring the Ignore feature back ASAP so all this talk can stop Those who want it can use it and those who don't want it can ignore the Ignore |
badwargamer | 01 Jun 2014 9:20 a.m. PST |
oooh, ignore the ignore
..sounds like a great t-shirt :) |
John the OFM | 01 Jun 2014 9:27 a.m. PST |
As soon as the Ignore Function™ is working again, I intend to start a thread with the title "If you have Ignored me and can still read this
" |
badwargamer | 01 Jun 2014 9:33 a.m. PST |
Is a moan about the Ignore feature an Ignorant? And if you ignore people are you an Ignoramus? Important questions. |

Well glad to say that since its been turned off I have been cured of my TMP addiction. I no longer come here every workday at lunch time. I read a book or an ebook. I no longer read TMP at the weekend while eating breakfast. I check my list of Blogs on Blogger where I also get my news before it appears on TMP. I have started using the Market place before my membership runs out. I check my threads that I start. Today is a Holiday being Queens Birthday weekend but I looked at that front page and thought, life is too short to sift through that garbage. So thanks Tango my life has improved. |
Maxshadow | 01 Jun 2014 3:53 p.m. PST |
Yes I enjoyed it too. Being from overseas I've heard about it but didn't really know what it was about. |
freewargamesrules | 02 Jun 2014 1:58 p.m. PST |
Hope it comes back soon as 90 out of the 400 posts on the front page are from one person. |
Zao Gongen | 02 Jun 2014 7:11 p.m. PST |
If t was clear and concise it would've included the phrase: " big golden ticket for the insurance companies". |
McWong73 | 03 Jun 2014 11:37 p.m. PST |
Be good to see this feature come back. There is a lot of noise diluting the signal I'm looking for, if you get the analogy. |
Bandit | 04 Jun 2014 2:52 p.m. PST |
Funny, I was actually browsing TMP Talk because I wasn't sure if the feature was presently on or off
so much for its potential importance to me. Cheers, The Bandit |
