Its good to give the Nightfolk a bit of an outing in the Old skool classic D&D
mi daughters been fancying a bit of RPG so I thought
. Palace of the Silver Princess. The module has been described as a low-level scenario, which involves the legends surrounding a ruined palace, a white dragon, and a giant ruby. The player characters encounter evil creatures that have taken over the palace. The plot of Palace of the Silver Princess revolves around a country frozen in time by a strange red light. The only seemingly unaffected location and the apparent source of the glow is the royal palace. The adventurers must restore the flow of time and save the country.
as a matter of interest the Wizards called Derek and the Parrot his called Clive:)
.they make a great team:) Paul |

I loved these. You come into a 10' x 10' room with no other exits and encounter a monster with no discernible reason for being there other than to guard a chest of stuff. Given it is too big to get through the door it exists on takeaway food delivered in the form of slow adventurers. |

Holy cow— B3: The Palace of the Silver Princess, the first D&D module to be written by a woman, and the only module to be entirely recalled and destroyed, then re-written and re-released (the above image is of the latter version): link The article leaves out some of the sordid (well, actually rather mild) details, but Wikipedia fills in the gaps: link |

The tiles are from the game Descent and the traps are from Wizkids
.the Nightfolk make them come alive!
its good to use the old D&D rules
nice and simple but allowing the players to move the adventure along nice and easy
too many new RPG rules nowadays that are far too bloated and complex
..bring back the good old days with the Nightfolk:) Paul:) |
