Took me almost 2 months to paint all these 300 orcs, and I have 90 more goblins on the way to paint.

Most impressive! Excellent work and MASSIVE production IMO. That would be a year's long project for me.

Awesome! Great work sticking to it.

Nice work, yet again! If I painted like you, my back-log of mini's would be done in 6 months!

Thanks to all!! I had fun painting them, but glad I am done, I was getting burned out….moving on to something else is motivating. And I am one who can not stand to have unpainted figures sitting around.

They look really nice and will make excellent bad guys for the game table!

Holy wargames table, Batman!

I hope the spirit of J.R.R. Tolkien is able to view your table from Heaven, and enjoy it as much as we all have.

Thanks all!
It is funny, this paint crusade started out when I posted my Gondolin game and someone nicely asked me what my Elves to Orc ratio was on the game…I had like 800 plus elves and only 355 Orcs/Goblins…so I added 300 infantry, 70 archers and eventually 60 orc crossbow and 30 more goblins heavies. Funny how things get me painting. But he was correct. Now my ratio is like 815 foot 36 wolves to 800 plus elves with about 60 plus heavy cav. A more even game play. Keep in mind I solo game but will play against anyone…and I love epic size battles, I get my diorama fix on at the same time.

I hope no one bashes me when I have my Helms Deep battle and all the Isengard orcs have Mordor shields…I plan on taking the photos of the games only on the right side of the orcs to hide the shield device….I just love Mordor that much….

When you put on your Helm's Deep battle, just say that Mordor provided the shields for the Isengard orcs as Lend-Lease equipment.

Not sure how it would be written in Old Elvish or pronounced in the language of Mordor -- "Just helping a brother out."
