I have done my first test paint of 15mm fantasy using Copplestone castings fantastic figures. I have not painted 15mm figures for a long time as I had laser eye surgery, and although it means I can see great at any distance over about 2 foot away, painting small figures had become difficult to say the least. That's when John Treadway can to the rescue with a suggestion I get a magnifying visor he has used that has different lenses and only cost £10.00 GBP Well John here are the results:

Those are some cracking paintjobs on some equally cracking figures.

I'm sure Mr. Treadaway will be very pleased to see your results.

Wow! Hard to believe that those are 15mm.

Those are sweet- Now, I want to go get eye surgery!

Hurrah for Copplestone, Treadway, and most of all you, Stealth1000, for getting back into the fray and kicking tail.

I love these minis. I'm planning to work some into my Vandal/Goth/Frank/Gepid Germans to designate the higher morale foot.

As Landorl posted, it IS hard to believe these are 15mm. They look like well done 28mm.

Really excellent!

Would you mind posting what kind of visor you're using now?

Those look great!

I'm a 28mm man myself, and just bought some old Grenadier Barbarians (now Mirliton), also made by Mr Copplestone, I believe.
The style is almost similar, but in 28mm.

Anyway, if my 28mm look as good as your 15mm I'm a happy man!
