Okay another dose of Republican Romans. This time some of my older collection of Newline ones I have got around to painting and finishing now. Hoping to sell these to fund Aventine or Agema to finish my legions. be shoving them in the Marketplace shortly I succumbed an did these in classic red. Just another 36 think to do and sell. That should get me another legion.

No not this time. Thought it was easier to leave open to change as going to be selling them |

Thanks Soldat. back to my more traditional black undercoat rather than brush dip this time. Got some old Companion Hastatii to do as well yet which should be fun. They will have LBMS blazons |

My personal preference is for plain shields for this period. I don't know of much evidence for shield blazons – but I'm open to be convinced otherwise. Nice work. |

@olicana I think you are spot on with the evidence either way. So I think each to their own choice and live and let live
unless fighting Gauls of course! Too much polarisation in wargaming to worry about it too much in my opinion. Its about enjoying it. Stew |
