I am looking to see what is available in 15mm for Sheridan tanks. I like the Battlefront (Vietnam) ones but they are covered in stowage.
and I'd rather add my own/use for more modern purposes. They have a pic of Sheridans "clean" on their website that would be perfect, but every shot I see of out of the box turrets are covered up in gear. link I have a QRF Sheridan, and unfortunately it's just too wonky for me. |

Maybe those "clean" ones were prototype models? I know that the ones available have got gear all over them, as your other photos shows. I do agree about the QRF Sheridan. I bought three because I thought the BF ones were just too expensive, and
yeah. I think though, that is about it for 15mm Sheridans. BWW |

QRF and Battlefront are the only two I know of. In what way is the QRF Sheridan wonky? I mean, I don't like it because it doesn't have the commander's gun tub and doesn't have any stowage on it, but is there something not right about it? |

It is pretty wonky, looks stretched too. |

Well the front of the chassis is wider than the back, and the turret is too small. I kept thinking it was because it's missing a bustle rack, but after measuring it it's quite shrunken. That being said, the QRF Sheridan is passable, and I really do appreciate that QRF makes such esoteric vehicles available in this scale. |

The clean ones might be the initial production BF did to tie in with the "Tropic Lightning" insert in WI. Apparently they were more difficult than usual to put together so they were redesigned for the "Tour of Duty" release. |

I have one here. It is 1/100 in length, width and height (fractional difference in hull width from front to back). Turret size meets these plans, but is possible a mm too far forward, giving an illusion of it being undersized:
I will try and take a photo of it sat on these plans later. I am in the process of making modifications to make it usable for post-Vietnam (commanders cupola with MG, modified gun and turret bustle. |

Hi Geoff et al. I took some pics as I had already printed some blue prints. I slathered some grey paint on over the original OD to keep it from looking like a silhouette. I know with the internet/email/forums it's hard to tell tone, but I want to be clear this is constructive criticism and not ball busting. I love QRF! Sheridan/PT-76 Love child?
Underfed turret
