Hey everybody, I'm looking for 15mm fantasy Egyptians w/ animal heads (Anubis, Crocodile, etc) to use as Ushabti for my 10mm Warmaster Tomb Kings army. So far I've found Magister Militum/Chariot Miniatures link however, I can't seem to figure out if the packs contain only a single pose, or multiple poses? and Splintered Light Sons of Horus link So that covers Jackal and Crocodile from MM/Chariot, and Horus from SL – does anyone know of other manufacturers that would have other sculpts with different heads (Asp, Cat/Bast, etc)? Thanks for your help TMP! |

Hi Judge, David is at Nashcon, and I don't know where in the process more Egyptian stuff is -- it may just be concepts at this point -- but I know he plans to do, e.g., jackal-headed troops, etc. |

I think Pendraken have some 10mm beastmen types. Not sure if they have exactly what you are looking for. Kallistra also have a fairly large 10mm range. |

Thanks guys! @captainquirk – are Pendraken's and Kallistra's 10mm figs larger than GW's 10mm Warmaster figs? I'm specifically looking for 15mm or so monsters so that they "tower over" normal 10mm Warmaster figures (as they are living statues in the background). Hmm I'll check though, thanks! @doc – that would be great! If you could pester him when he gets back :) |

Don't actually have any, but I thought the Kallistra ones at least were considered "large" 10mm. |

Have you looked at the old Armies of Arcana range. Not quite there but if you are not fussy the snakemen and wolfen might work. Be warned these are large sculpts even by 15mm standards link Pendraken and Kallistra are mainly the same sculpts. Main difference is that many Kallista are cast in strips. I have a few size comparison pics of Pendraken vs other 15mms here link |

I'm fairly sure the Chariot/MM figures are single pose, but they are metal so you can always bend the arms etc to different angles – since they are living statues I would think a certain degree of uniformity might not be a bad thing? |

Hi – I think you forgot the fantasy beastmen range from magister militum too- it includes bast cat men, crocs, horus hawkmen and cobra-headed men. The meerkatmen riding camels and giant snakes could be useful, too. plus check out MM's blood dawn beastmen for goat-headed beastmen (ammon ra, etc) minotaurs (apis) and giant scorpions. |
