Very impressive! Plastic or metal? |
Double G | 23 May 2014 5:45 p.m. PST |
Thanks very much; all of my figures are metal, manufacturers include Kennington, Newline Design, Qualitycast, Musket Miniatures, RSM, Frontier and Der Kriegspieler Confederals

I'm impressed. I painted up some Musket Miniatures for a friend years ago; they paint up fast (at least in my experience). |

Very nice AND impressive ! I had scads of Thomas 20's for years and used to use them to run On To Richmond. Gave 'em away and converted to 28's for ACW. |

Thanks 79th PA and Ed; Musket Miniatures were the first metal figures I bought when I got back into the hobby in the mid 1990's and Thomas 20's were the first metals I ever bought, did so on my first trip to Gettysburg when I was a kid, bought them at Gilberts Hobby Shop (I think that was the name of the place)

Wow. Those are lovely. I've painted some Newline Design ACW and Dixon and found them very nice. I think I painted some limber teams from Dixon – could have been another manufacturer. |

Thanks for the comments, I appreciate it. I have some Dixon figures as well, a bit chunky and large to mix with true 20mm, but I do have some as they hold a certain level of charm

I think Flag Dude flags, as seen above, are better at 15mm than at 25mm. |

Love your large regiments. Enjoyed reading the figure manufacturers featured in your collection. Mine is primarily Kennington with Woldenfeld and Musket Miniatures also represented. Limbers are Irregular Miniatures. My collection is set up for Gettysburg for Fire & Fury. Never have touched it. |

Hal, Thanks very much, thanks for the PM as well. I have a lot of the Woldenfeld Miniatures (I think that's how you spell it, not sure), like his marching figures very much, also have a lot of his Zouaves, plus the JEB Stuart figure, I don't have any Irregular Miniatures in my collection
