Hope you all enjoy. Zac and I have been cranking the last few weeks to get some fun schtuff ready to swamp Tony with :)
As stuff gets finalized, we will "unlock" the dark images in the background. Kirk & Zac |

grommet37 | 23 May 2014 6:38 p.m. PST |
More vehicles to add to the ever-expanding list. I'm going to have more tanks than troops! |
kallman | 23 May 2014 7:01 p.m. PST |
Those look very nice. Looking forward to seeing them in the flesh. |
erraticassassin | 24 May 2014 4:33 a.m. PST |
That's looking like a VERY nice collection of kit. I would just say though that the blacked-out vehicle, second right, back row, looks a lot like the old GZG 25mm hover jeep which is now being sold by Daemonscape. |
SpleenRippa | 24 May 2014 7:44 a.m. PST |
That hover jeep has me excited to a worrying level :) Those vehicles are all top shelf, IMO. If Brigade produces them, I'll be buying multiples of each. |

A boxy artillry hog turret on the Shaman hull would be useful
PS Kirk/Zac could you drop me an email so we can have a private chat? My address is linked from the Slammers site. John T |

Ohh, is that an Ontos-style vehicle on the rear right? We could tell you but then we would have to kill you
so its best to just simply deny all knowledge of what you are referring to. ;) That's looking like a VERY nice collection of kit. I would just say though that the blacked-out vehicle, second right, back row, looks a lot like the old GZG 25mm hover jeep Ahhh is that what it is i can just make out a dark silhouette of something box like with a knobbly bit on top
;) A boxy artillry hog turret on the Shaman hull would be useful
Don't give up hope just JT as i agree and still want to design a Calliope box style artillery turret for the Shaman, i think that kind of a turret on the Shaman hull would match up very well indeed and as Kirk has mentioned we have thought about doing it a couple of times already. :D Zac |
Tony Francis | 27 May 2014 8:30 a.m. PST |
If it encourages anyone, I can confirm that Brigade are definitely intending to get these into production, and in a shorter timescale than the Shaman took. We're looking to get the 3D prints ordered in the next 2-3 weeks, and the first models into production sometime in the summer (I won't commit any more than that !). Kirk and Zac (Rommel Twee and Avamango respectively) have done some great design work here, and we're really excited to be able to add them to our range. |

Are we going to see the Shaman combat car mod posted a while back? |
AVAMANGO | 28 May 2014 7:13 p.m. PST |
Are we going to see the Shaman combat car mod posted a while back? To be honest with you i'm not sure at this present time, if we do deside to do the combat car a revamp will be in order which will require a few tweaks but that shouldn't cause us any issues, we will let you know if its a yes or a no. :) thanks zac |
AVAMANGO | 29 May 2014 1:27 p.m. PST |
Ok the open top Shaman combat car is a pretty strong candidate now, Kirk and i talked about the tweaks we want to carry out on it and we think you will all approve of it when its ready, we just hope Tony likes it to
We also have another updated group shot with a couple of additional Calliopes for you all to drool over now that Tony had made it public knowledge that Brigade models have agreed to produce our vehicle designs, ill be posting it up a bit later on tonight. :) many thanks Zac & Kirk

These are looking really great! |
Kirk Alderfer | 29 May 2014 6:38 p.m. PST |
Well the fun part with these has been trying to see how many different variations we could come up with before Tont screamed ENOUGH !!!! Seriously though, having done a complete set of vee's like this makes me almost want to start doing 15mm. Almost. But here is how it all breaks down; Sohei Heavy Hover Tank – 3 variants, Autocannon, Laser & Gatling. All with lightweight missile boxes and support weapons. Shaman – Light Hover Tank. Armed with laser or medium weight autocannon. One support weapon. Warlock – Light Support/AA Hover Tank. Based on the Shaman chassis. Has Twin railguns for the standard version. Adapts the heavy gatling from the Sohei for the Raider version. Both use unmanned turrets. Ontos – Light Support Hover Tank. Uses a Shaman chassis with an armored casement and six railguns. One support weapon. Magnus Heavy Hover APC Wizard Hover Jeep – with and without the topper. One support weapon. Legion I & Legion II missile systems – adaptable missile systems that can be used on most tanks in place of the standard turret or on bunkers. |

Wow, great looking line up! Will follow with interest! Edit: Any chance of a Blower-M113? That was the arch-typical APC of the era, after all. -Will |

Edit: Any chance of a Blower-M113? That was the arch-typical APC of the era, after all.-Will @ Will if you want to have a few M113 style hover APC in your army you should take a look at Rebel miniatures Earth Force hover tank, i think the pictured parts below are all that is needed to create what i think would be one of the best matches for a hover M113 out there and for $8.50 USD i think that is a pretty good deal. :) zac

Rommel Twee: Thanks. My eyes were bugging trying to suss that all out. AVAMANGO: I really need to order some stuff from that Rebel Minis, "build your own" group of parts. I think I need to become a better modeler first, though. 8) |

:D |

I am in love with the lil' jeep. The removable top takes it up to a must have item for me. |
AVAMANGO | 03 Jun 2014 9:39 p.m. PST |
Twoball Cane & mister droid we are very pleased to read that you like our Wizard hover jeep we do try to make our vehicles a little bit quirky, if all goes to plan you will also be able to select a couple of different hatch options such as a small twin rocket launcher, external mounted sensor or the remote machine gun and if that wasn't enough for you we hope that the mounted tools will be a separate piece too
:) |

Great stuff i cant wait to have a butchers at that, i hope you like the Calliope turrets we went back and decided to finish them off after all and offer them to Brigade, we even briefly considered calling the Shaman Calliope variant the 'Treadway'. :) Zac |

Really cool models. Any chance we'll be seeing them in 6mm? |
AVAMANGO | 04 Jun 2014 11:25 p.m. PST |
Really cool models. Any chance we'll be seeing them in 6mm? Thank you and yes their are plans to have the full Mercenary range produced in 6mm as Brigade models also cater for 15mm,6mm and 2mm scales but i just don't know when as Tony mentioned that his work schedule is very full at the moment so i never pushed him on the subject. |
John Treadaway | 05 Jun 2014 2:50 a.m. PST |
Great stuff i cant wait to have a butchers at that I emailed one to Kirk last night. John T |

Super – I'm going to do more work on it. Keith (Armies Armies) and I are in discussion about some infantry plus I need to do some points costing and some organisational stuff for it but I'll try over the weekend if I get a chance. John T |

VACATION
Submitted this today after some model cleanup.

AVAMANGO | 06 Jun 2014 4:07 a.m. PST |
The combat car has been slightly remodeled, basically we made it easier to assemble and hopefully it should be stronger to when it has been constructed, it now has just two thicker connecting roof struts instead of four single struts and deeper fixing points we also remodeled the rear section and gave it a better look not that you can see it from the picture above. :) Zac |

AVAMANGO | 09 Jun 2014 5:48 p.m. PST |
Very very cool, but 6mm please!Would like to see John's list for Slammerverse as well In time the full range will be done in 6mm as this is another scale that Brigade models cater for, as for the Hammers Slammers list i think JT is refining some of the artwork and i am sure he will post a link to download the PDF file when its ready. :D |
Great Toad | 19 Sep 2014 10:53 a.m. PST |
Very Nice. Already seen most of the models on the Brigade website, just waiting for the Warlock and the MLRS to be sorted out then I can place my order for collection at SELWG. I saw a quote about the MLRS Turrets being available as bunker turrets will these work out cheaper than a full tank model(Sorry about being cheeky)! |
AVAMANGO | 19 Sep 2014 2:06 p.m. PST |
I've seen the masters for the Warlock and the Legion1 MLRS so i know they will be alone quite soon, i would imagine just buying the MLRS turret would be cheaper than buying the whole model. I am sure that if you asked Tony he would sell you just the turret as Brigade do cast their own products, do you have a tank hull alternative or fortification to use just out of curiosity. ? Zac |

Got here via a google picture search when following up to my question in the other thread. Almost everything except the legion2 seems available now. That one didn't get approved? |
AVAMANGO | 25 Feb 2015 3:07 p.m. PST |
Almost everything except the legion 2 seems available now. That one didn't get approved? No it didn't pass muster but there are plans to expand on the mercs further and add a couple more variants we feel will go down pretty well… |

SO missed this originally! That's looking like a VERY nice collection of kit. I would just say though that the blacked-out vehicle, second right, back row, looks a lot like the old GZG 25mm hover jeep. And the one in the middle looks like a Polaroid SX-70. ;->= Congrats, guys! Doug |
Tony Francis | 27 Feb 2015 9:29 a.m. PST |
Almost everything except the legion2 seems available now. That one didn't get approved? It wasn't a matter of it not being approved, there was nothing wrong with it, I just didn't think we could justify having two artillery rocket vehicles that were essentially the same model, one was just a bit bigger than the other. IME artillery in general doesn't sell too well in 15mm. Very very cool, but 6mm please! Soon, very soon … |
javelin98 | 27 Feb 2015 2:23 p.m. PST |
I just go around to washing up my Christmas order of these last weekend, and I'm really looking forward to painting them! These are superb vehicles. Can't wait to see what else is in store for line! Some ideas: - Mortar carrier based on the Magnus or Mantra - ACAV version of the Magnus (open back deck with 4 or 6 weapons mounts along the gunwales) - Combat Engineer variant of the Sohei or Shaman (really just a dozer blade or mine rake and a boom in place of the turret would work) |
FritsK | 27 Feb 2015 3:22 p.m. PST |
I was just wondering what happened to the legion2. But to be honest, the legion2 looks a bit better in terms of proportions. The launcher on the legion1 looks a bit oversized compared to the vehicle. |
