I was in New Jersey last weekend for my nieces wedding, and I found a little time to sneak over to Maplewood Hobbies.I had read about the place off and on for some time here on TMP,and I wasnt disappointed. As soon as I entered the shop I was greeted enthusiastically, and once I revealed I as from out of town,I was given the nickel tour(I hadnt had one of those since I went to Brookhurst hobbies,a decade ago).I apologize for not remembering the gentleman's name, but he showed me a goodly portion of the massive historical collection upstairs, and those lucky fellows even have their own spray booth.I was able to buy some OG15's for my AWI collection right off the rack(quite a rare gem these days) and my nephew found a metal Skaven figure he had been looking for.If anyone ever has the opportunity to stop in there, its highly recommended.

This is a great shop with a very good inventory. I went about 2 months ago and spent 3 times as long as planned.

I was there a few weeks ago and picked up a board game. The staff was very friendly without being pushy, saying hello when I walked in and feel free to ask questions. They went back to their conversation when I said I was just browsing but the instant I walked back up to ask a question they stopped and talked to me. That is good service (I hate pushy!)

I agree, it's an excellent place.
