What lenght does everyone use ? most bags are 2 -3mm But would the 4 or 6mm work ? Are u using a Applicator when u do it ? Do the home made ones work as well as the 200 USd store models ? |

I use the 2mm stuff mostly for 15mm and for 28mm. |

I have a Faller static grass dispenser but I really think the Noch yellow plastic puff-squeeze dispenser works just as well! 4-6mm works equally well in dispensing. The 2mm is great for smaller figs, fer sure! (Smaller: 12mm and below) Hope that helps. tom |

I think the few boxs of the games workshop grass I used in basing my British were very short
the grass only came a little over the top of the feet |

I generally cover 30 to 40% of the base with the longer grass. I can add the small tufts of grass on the base for variety. I have used the shorter grass from GW, but did not like the golf green effect of being evenly cut. Cheers, |

The 2-3mm static grass works on 10mm figs as well |

I use 2-4mm grass and a Noch puffer, quick and easy. |
