Hi All, Just a quick reminder that littlewars Melbourne is on next weekend (Sunday June 1st). This year we are using the Kingston Town all, a massive venue with a train station 100m from the front door and tons of parking. We need this because of the huge number of participation games which are running: 29 at last count! Bring and Buy and a heap of traders as well. A not to be missed event! We will also have terrain making and a painting comp. As you might be aware Littlewars was established as a game show "for gamers by gamers" and in its 6th year we are proud to see this tradition as strong as ever. Littlewars will also be on in Adelaide this year as well (Saturday July 12th) The best of south Australian wargaming! Visit the website littlewars.com.au to find out more. Look forward to seeing you there. Ara, Alan, Nic and Mike |

Yep, can definitely enter on the day. Just bring your entry along and pay the 5 dollar entry fee, fill out the forms etc. You can enter for yourself or a friend. I think they usually take entries up until midday, displaying everything on their tables, and then they start their judging – announcing winners etc in the late afternoon. Ozpainters will be right by the front entrance, with their large display tables, so you should be able to see them easy! If you want to ask ozpainters any questions, you can try contacting them via their facebook page: link |

For 2014 we will be at Kingston City Hall, Corner Nepean Hwy & South Rd Moorabbin, Sunday 1st June 2014, 9.30am – 4.30pm
The venue is RIGHT next to the Moorabbin Train Station, and has a good amount of on- and off- street parking. Have a look at Map below for some general indications of parking options (NB – the undercover parking WILL be taken by traders and gamemasters by about 8am):

Thanks to the tireless organisers and everyone that put on the excellent array of games today. Great deals at the traders stands and top performance by NWA at the Bring and Buy table. Little Wars Melbourne was an absolute cracker! |

Yup, impressed with the day and the excellent venue. And the kransky from Mutter Krause was delicious! :) |

Thanks guys. Very Very Happy everyone had a good time. Venue was great, tables were awesome, lots of games, everyone was really friendly throughout the day. Traders were very happy, the Bring n Buy did a great trade – and I grabbed some bargains throughout the day. All of the local clubs were outstanding in their support for the day – and it's always good to see the NWA blueshirts representin'. Methinks we shall be returning to the same venue for next year – so let your friends and gaming-pals know, and get cracking on ideas for some visually stunning games at Little Wars Melbourne 2015! Some possible ideas

What he said! Yep another fantastic day or Wargamey goodness. Easily my favourite day on the Wargame calendar! Well done Nic, Mike and all the others too numerous to name. Also thanks to the guys who ran the Bring and Buy. I walked away with over $600 USD in spending money, (but only went home with about $150 USD in my pocket) ;) Mick's Metal Models and Eureka miniature got most of it :) Cheers Scott |

People, We are booked to go to Adelaide either side of the LWA event, what gaming shops are there for me to visit, please? I know there are traders there and I have a parcel to collect from Eureka but I woud like to do some shopping as well apart from the show. |

Military Hobbies will be at the show, but there is nothing quite like a visit to their shop – it's an Aladdin's Cave of wargaming treasures. It's definitely my absolute favourite shop in South Australia. Then there is Infinity Games at 27 Gilbert Street in the City, and the Hobby Matrix out at Westfield Tea Tree Plaza (and they have a another shop a bit further north at Hancock Rd, Redwood Park). |

To add to Alan's list, if you're looking for terrain material, then Orient Express, a model railway shop on King William Road, is around 15 minutes walk from the venue(basically just follow the tram tracks towards the East). No military models but a lot of scenic material and plastic kits for buildings etc (And trains of course). orientexpressmodels.com.au If you're looking for Star Wars and the like then there are a couple of branches of Games World, one in town in Adelaide Arcade, and the other at Westfiled Marion. gamesworld.com.au |

There is also a Games World out at TTP (Tea Tree Plaza), which as mentioned before also includes a Hobby Matrix out their too. |
