By mistake I ordered a set of guns with gun crews in helmets rather than Picklehaub. Then when ordering the replacement figures I had the right crew but ordered the wrong guns. So the third pack had the right crews, the right guns, meaning that I had 3 10.5cm Howitzers left over with later war crews.

Well you certainly converted errors into gems! Very nicely done, and the camouflage is excellent. Not my scale, but I have no doubt you will find a happy buyer for these!

Buyer, nope these are going to part of my 1916+ project to go up against my British and French forces. (I will of course have to start painting the French first :) )

Oh, even better! I wonder if WWI will finally get the attention it deserves. There are some encouraging signs it will.

Do you have a rules set in mind, CAG 19?

I play both Great War Spearhead and Square Bashing as the mood takes me. Fancy trying out OP14 but IMHO I think it is at the wrong scale for me. Just reading the German and French account of the August 1914 campaign and a lot of lower level details where company actions are the norm. So looking for something fast play but at a lower level that SB but not skirmish.
