Another great AAR.

But that's against the rules! Turning into a giant serpant is not supposed to help!

Hooray for Champ! (woof) I love the use of dogs in pulp era scenarios. They played such a large part in serials, movies and comic strips (Rin-Tin-Tin, Ace the Wonder Dog, Buck, Strongeheart, White Fang, Devil, Lassie, etc.) that they absolutely need to be included. "Ace", The Spider's Great Dane, is part of my Spider led team.

Great use of graphics. Very impressive.

Well written. Great AAR!

Thanks for the report.

The Serpent Priest reminds me of my old Sunday School teacher. A little more warm and friendly perhaps.

What, no Sandy (Little Orphan Annie), Asta (The Thin Man), Toto (The Wizard of Oz), Pete the Pup (Little Rascals/Our Gang), Bandit (Jonny Quest), Astro (The Jetson), Brain (Inspector Gadget), Muttley (Wacky Races/Dastardly and Muttley and Their Flying Machines) or, dare I utter the name, Scooby-Doo?

Thanks Dave
Excellent AAR with the graphic layout.
Have fun

Brilliantly laid out AAR, appropriately ending on a cliff-hanger.

I look forward to the next chapter of the serial.

While a few of your suggested dogs did appear prominently in the media during the pulp era. Sandy, Asta, Toto and Pete the Pup. I tend to like the more heroic dogs. Although I will definitely give points to Pete for being a Pit Bull. :-)

Here's an interesting fact about "Rinty": The first Rin-Tin-Tin appeared in 27 films, and in 1929, according to Hollywood legend, he received the most votes for the first Academy Award for Best Actor, but the Academy determined that a human should win.

Another German Shepherd Dog named Strongheart preceded Rinty in films. His first starring role was in "The Silent Call" in 1921 and he became an instant hit! Unfortunately, he passed away after only five films. Strongheart dog food is named after him.

Nice AAR! I also like the layout. How did you do it?
