Dreamblade Repainted

Hundvig Fezian is not a real big fan of pre-painted minis, and he positively despises randomly-packed "collectable" ones - so why is he writing this article?

So I am working on some pulp gaming scenarios and Land of the Lost of Lost World type games. I have always liked the idea of Lizardmen and in fact I am using the Games Workshop Skinks as my Sleestacks of reptile/saurian natives for some odd ball colonial gaming. So what are your choice for Sleestacks. Are yours slow and ponderous but dangerous in groups or fast and feral and deadly? Now this kind of sounds like a zombie discussion. grin

Anyway have you used Lizardmen or Sleestacks in your Pulp/Colonial/VSF or other type of games?

AD&D plastic had some nice figures for Sleestacks, of course you can only game with three of them at a time.

Yes but why mess with GW when you can just use Sleestacks!

Interloper Miniatures carries them. I am not affiliated with the company other than backing the Indiegogo.

I have Forge of Ice and really like them. I have some of the chicken guys from Interloper and think they are great, but haven't seen their lizard guys in the flesh. Forge of Ice also has some figures that could work as Mahar if you're looking for that too.

Depending on how many are left, these might be an option for you.

Well I did not know that someone had sculpted some. Of course I should have expected as much.

Mmmmm… sleestax. Wish I could see the Forge of Ice ones, but I refuse to be a part of FaceBook.

The link by Grizzly71 shows them in the grey and is not on FB
