Great of you to share this, Rory! Surprised you rig your ships laying on their sides
do you find it easier than rigging them upright? |

Rory actually does them on his lap, his knee I believe! I'm sure he will explain when he sees this. |

SPACE, I had limited space to start with. So I always paint on a "not so white" cloth across my knee and a strong light off my right shoulder. I tried mounting the ships on different bases and blocks, they got in the way and rolled of my lap. I find it better now not to to do this, so as I can get all around the ship. I have just done some oared ships. They are very hard to do as the oar-blocks keep flipping them up-right as I rig them. Blo##y things! I most say sorry about the some of the photos as I was learning that as I went a long with the guide. Be safe Rory P.S. Vol, just looked at this. Will PM you soon. |
