Found this starwars shuttle while trolling around the town yardsale today for a dollar!

Within seconds of messing around with it I had this idea.

Looks like a roof to me!
I plan on making a sample mold to try out a few other things as well.

Alternmatively you could mount them on something to make them look like solar panels.

Genius, out f*&%$g standing! Carry on.

Very brilliant.

Only thing is that isn't a shuttle, it was Darth Vader's TIE fighter.

Brilliant, and I see the main parts of the buildings are the containers for the one buck zerboz figs. 2 terrain pieces for 3 bucks, you are a genious.

Don't neglect the fuselage though. With a dremel there's at least 3 facings that can be cut off and make great hatches/doors windows. I've taken to cutting up resale shop toys to make use of virtually any textured panel.

Could be radar dishes too.

From this McDonald's Happy Meal Star Wars Yoda toy, I'm repurposing the mechanism that Yoda is telekinetically operating.

I think the transparent dome looks good as a cockpit canopy on the hover/grav transport sled the device is going to become. Simply open the underside and put an operator figure inside.
Since I have several of these toys, I am also reshaping the Yoda figures as statues, suitably altered and repainted, for a pulp adventure game (with the arms in the raised positions a couple of these will resemble a scaled-down version of the giant statues at the border of Gondor.

I have a couple from the toys that I intend to use as large radiators for a fusion engine.
