My biggest issue was there is no follow through on his posts. When I post a topic or participate in a discussion, I will return to see if there was any activity and try to be as helpful as I can. When Tango posts it is solely from the information point of view. I found out a few times that he posted items from my club's site (which I run) and people had questions about the rules, figures, etc., and I was only able to help when I blundered onto those threads. I've seen others ask questions about the items in his posts, but how would he know anything about the subject? He's already moved on to 30+ other posts! For that reason I stifled him. |

With Tango in the doghouse the number of new posts here will reduce by 75% plus. I'm guessing her generates more views than the rest of TMP put together. He's kind of like the news on this site these days. |

Forums are for discussion. Tango just posts a huge number of random links that because each has its own thread clutter the subforums. stifles and ignore only hides posts not threads. It wouldn't be a problem if he kept his posts in a single thread -"Interesting Ancient History" links or something. |

Well as I and others have said. No one forces anyone to read any threads here. If a topic does not interest me … I don't click on it and move on … If that does not work for some, there is always the stifle/ignore options … Yes ? |

This is a forum about little toy soldiers and adults who have refused to grow up (I'm 53 going on 12). Forums are most certainly for discussion but may also be used to pass along pertinent information. If Tango posted about town hall events in his hometown I would have a huge problem with that. However, his posts are related to our hobby and throughout the years I have gotten some pretty good ideas from them. Life is too short to get worked up about an internet forum. Relax, people. |

This is a forum about little toy soldiers and adults who have refused to grow up … Inside every old person is a young person asking "what happened?"

Jerez. Is this thread still running? Give it a rest. Nothing new has been said since 2014. |
