I know this is still a year away but SWMBO is now starting to "encourage" (read nag) me into booking a holiday next April! I always manage to do this so that I avoid Salute (landed back in the country on the Friday this year!). However despite searching, I cannot find next years date anywhere!! If it's the same as the London Marathon, that will be the 26th April – (hoping it isn't) Can anyone put me out of my misery and let me know next years date! Thanks Don |

I've seen April 25th mentioned on fb – it's normally the day of marathon booking in, not the race. I've asked if this is (a) true and (b) a permanent shift to later in April but not heard back yet. |

The shifting date is to do with moving Easters. |

Easter's earlier next year then this year, and Salute is later. I'm sure it's a factor, I'm just not sure it's the only one. |

Re Marathon, hope it is! We stay in London for the weekend, I get to Salute on the Saturday, watch the Marathon Sunday. If you want to avoid fighting through the Marathon crowds, get off the DLR at the next stop and walk back to Salute from the other side. |

It is definitely on 25th April 2015. |

"If you want to avoid fighting through the Marathon crowds, get off the DLR at the next stop and walk back to Salute from the other side." Unless there is a large convention in one of the other halls. This year there was a large medical conference and the security guards were only admitting acredited delegates at the Prince Regent entrance; I had to return to the Custom House entrance and battle through the throng. |
