What do you think are the best choices for figures for the Second and later Crusades? I was looking at the Crusader (no pun there) figures that are labeled as Later Crusades. What time period are these? What figures do you like or think work for this era?

Here are some pics of the Crusader figures:

I think any of these would work. There is no plate armor which is good.

Those are for 13th century. For 2nd and 3rd crusades check Perry and Black Tree Design figures. No full barrel helms yet. They probably appeared some time in the early 13th century.

I really like those Crusader crusaders, especially that first batch. I have lovely Saracens. We should battle.

So the Crusader figures above would be more for what if they are called crusaders? Would this mean they are more for the so called crusades that took place against Eastern European Kingdoms by the Teutonic Order and such?

Also, Fireforge Games plastic Templars, Teutonics and Sergeants are fine for the period.

I used Perry for both 1st and 2nd Crusades.
