I came across three packs of old grenadier Viking castings. These are the kind that have the metal stub for the plastic shield. Unfortunately, all the shields are small or fantasy like shields. They do not look good on these castings.

Does anyone know where I can get "bits" for the old Viking shields to get these few figures finished?

Thanks

Ask around to see if anyone has spare shields from the Gripping Beast Dark Ages Warriors set. At least some folks should have extras from that, because one way to use the figures is as shield-less slingers. The shields have a hollow boss that might fit over the shield nub, but if not, you could easily trim the nub off with some clippers.

I have a pile of WGF and GB plastic shields I'd be happy to sort through.

I can provide pics
