Hi again – last one I promise !

A couple of trickier ones here I think – plus again not sure I have the correct turrets on the hulls

bc174512 May 2014 12:23 p.m. PST

Top one is a British Deacon
Next two are British Morris C8 FAT's (Field Artillery Tractor)
Next is tiger I not sure what the one is next to it….. Jackson TD?
Next line are A Sherman, A Firefly and another Sherman

Bottom ones no idea ….take it they are 1/300th so possible H&R

MajorB12 May 2014 12:24 p.m. PST

They look like early Skytrex or Davco 1/300 to me.

Top is the Deacon armoured SP 6 pdr on AEC Matador chassis. Next is 2 Quad field artillery tractors. Next is a Tiger I and M36 Jackson tank destroyer. Followed by 3 M4 Sherman's, a M4/76, British Firefly 17 pdr gun conversion and a M4/75. Finally I think the trucks are probably GMC 2.5 tonners.

Phil Gray12 May 2014 12:38 p.m. PST

they do look like davco/ skytrex – my argentines had those shermans alongside Zodiac Castings TAMs.

The trucks seem to be carrying a bridging column (which is either generic or soviet)

Tarleton12 May 2014 12:54 p.m. PST

The trucks are Skytrex. Part of a Russian bridging column.

that middle Sherman looks like an Israeli one, as it has hvss suspension and the turret extension as well
the trucks are cold war Russian kraz 6x6 with the pmp (I think) pontoon bridge.

Etranger12 May 2014 8:16 p.m. PST

Or could it be the AMX13 turret on Sherman chassis that the Israelis also used?

Agree that at least some of them are Leicester Micromodels/DAVCO/Skytrex (Same company, different names over the years).

misformed blobs of lead?

Martin Rapier13 May 2014 2:26 a.m. PST

At least they haven't got pins for guns, which many of my original Skytrex ones still do.

Etranger13 May 2014 4:46 a.m. PST

Mine too, Martin, circa 1978.

These pics would have all been pre-1985
