St. Crispin's Hobby Day is upon us!!!
Tim Knapp and the Maus Haus crew will be taking care of the cooking duties this month so give them a hearty thank you when you arrive I hope to see you all there. If you are a first time visitor stop by and see me and I will get you a free drink. Ask anyone where Harmon is, they will probably know. Anyone wearing an Adventure on the High Seas! Tshirt or playing a game or building a model with a nautical theme gets a free ticket to the raffle. All raffle proceeds this month go to purchase new Costco folding chairs for the hall. If we hit $100 USD we get four new chairs.

Fast-paced and action-packed, this exciting, naval miniatures game will let players recreate historical battles or go head-to-head in competitive warfare that rages across massive 30"x40" battle maps. Come learn with us this fun and easy fast paced game.

After a two month hiatus War of the Ring will be back. Perhaps Brian will field his Corsairs of Umbar army in keeping with our "Adventure on the High Seas" theme! Brian may have to work on Saturday. If that happens the alternate game will be Lord of the Rings.

These fast-play rules allow entire armies to be represented by less than 50 figures. The booklet also includes a campaign system, and over 200 army lists. DBA was the first game in the DBx series, which now includes DBM (a more complex version of DBA), HOTT (a fantasy version), and DBR (a renaissance version).

Space is available all day for model building, terrain building and figure and miniature painting at the Plywood-topped tables. Plenty of tools are available to all . In honor of the "Adventure on the High Seas" Theme I'll have a Jean Bart for construction and Sean may even have the 1/200 scale Yamato he's refurbishing for a client. Come on by and improve all your forces whatever they may be.
