Copplestone future wars in 15mm
Could it happen. I have bought copplestone's 15mm Barbarians and they utterly amazing figures. Now I have been and fan of his future wars range and own most of them but I no longer do 28mm. So, has anyone got the ear of the great man. Could 15mm Future wars happen? If the range was re-sculpted in 15mm I would buy the entire range again. And I think there are a lot of people who would. Imagine these: link In 15mm just, and as nicely done as these 15mm:
Please Mr Copplestone can you do your Future Wars range in 15mm. If you Kick start it I will be in big. |

I have to admit, you got me excited when I read this headline, I thought CC was releasing them, damn, I feel jipped now. |

I'd love to see all his ranges in 15mm, LOVE the bararians. If he all the early 20th century adventure ranges in 15mm in particular I would be a happy chap indeed! |

Maybe team up with foundry miniatures and get them all done? I would go for the cc ones though for sure |

15mm SF is the way to go these days, the larger scale should be left to those wanting charicature plastics |

I'd definitely buy some of his 15mm Future Wars stuff! |

Count me in! I'd be all over CC's stuff in 15mm! |

I'd be all over those, too. 15mm scifi is my bag, baby. |

I almost considered staying with 28mm and switching over to mostly copplestone, but I ended up going 15mm instead (just had a bit more variety and it was and is growing much faster-- I also ended up liking the feel of the scale more, but I didn't know that at the time), If Future Wars was released in 15mm I'd buy it all, probably in one big package, and spend a few weeks painting every day. |

I think you just have to hope Mark's interests lie in the direction of something you want to purchase because I don't think he tries to figure out what will sell when he makes his decisions on what to put out next. I think he just sculpts what he wants (either for his own gaming or because it is cool) and then puts them up for sale tp the rest of us. The best you can do is jump on board and count yourself lucky when his interests coincide with yours. |

His output seems to be less and less each year with proposed projects that have never seen the light of day, like the Knights of the Savannah. Leidang has it right! |

For those of you who haven't seen them before, here are the Future Wars and High Adventure series. link I've always loved the Sci-Fi civilians, mercs, and other unique character sculpts. Best, JBR |

Stealth1K. Would love to see his FW range in 15mm. But he needs to finish is 15mm fantasy stuff first. So best thing i can recommend is to clone him and one of him can finish fantasy and the other close can start on the 15mm FW line. Sound good? Now stop being so mean with titles like that. Got me all excited as well. :-) Stealth1K, on a side note. Who painted the above 15mm barbarians? If you kudos to your ability. Those are looking damn fine indeed. Grimm |

Sorry Grimm I did think the title might be a tad misleading but in a moment of evil mindedness it get got through. :-) The 15mm fantasy was not painted by me (I wish) just found it on a Google image search. Here is his blog: link I can paint pretty good but not that good. I am working on my Copplstone barbarians at the moment, thanks to John Treadway's suggestion for a magnifier so I can paint 15mm again. Yes a clone of me would be handy. :-) Lets all hope Mr COpplestone gets into 15mm sf. |

JBR, you forgot to mention their Kiss Kiss Kiss Bang Bang range: link Spy Fi has been on my "oooh shiny, shut up and take my money" list for a while (wonderful minis from Copplestone, Crooked Dice and Artizan Design, to name just a few) but 28mm isn't an option. The problem here isn't so much the scale of the miniatures (I'd only need a few) but the terrain: it wouldn't be Spy Fi without a gorgeous secret super-villain lair board (complete with shark tanks, ventilation ducts, laser cutter interogation table and so on). I would obviously need to be modular! And here we go: I can't/won't/don't want to store huge 28mm terrain! |

Trojan Points I am with you on that. |

I would love to see his halflings done in 15mm. The Grenadier ones were great! |
| mxconnell | 09 May 2014 6:59 a.m. PST |
