I think it'd be a poor decision to NOT make them hold a FoW base

The scenics and river boats etc look like the models I designed when I was running Firebase Games back in the 1990's. I sold the masters and the copyright for the models and the Free Fire Zone rules to Brookhurst Hobbies in the late 90's. I wonder what they did with the 20mm versions? Still, nice to see the models back in play again. Barrie |

They have re-written the rules and they should be out soon along with the terrain. |

I'll be watching this one, as I like a lot of what they are making. It looks to me like most of the based figures shown in their video are on FoW medium bases. I could be wrong, though

Howdy all, Barrie is spot on. Henry Tremblay (owner of Brookhurst Hobbies) bought Firebase Games back in the 90's with the plans of releasing the entire line, but never got it done. I was working on a design project with Henry and he showed me the Firebase terrain. The original stuff was just beautiful, right up there with the best I've ever seen. Barrie is a master sculptor/designer. Top notch. So, Henry and I decided that 20 years hidden away was enough. We decided to remaster (promise, no originals were injured in the redesign) the terrain to the 15mm scale because that seemed more popular now. We also redesigned them to hold FOW sized bases. We're adding more new stuff to the line all the time. We still have all of the 20MM originals. The molds didn't stand the test of time, but we made new ones before making any changes to any of it. So, if there is enough interest we could move the 20mm stuff back into production in the future. Cheers All, Mike Garner Hallowed Ground Terrain |

I would definitely be interested in the Firebase & brown-water kit in 20mm. 15mm is out for me as I am into 20mm far to heavily to consider changing scales and selling it on only to buy new kit that needs making/painting etc. |

They have posted a couple of updates including more detail on the product and are almost 40% of the way there with a couple of weeks left. The huts alone seem like a really good deal with six 15mm huts with removable roofs and detailed interiors for 50.00. They also have platforms upon which to raise your hut above the swampy monsoon. Great for colonials, WW1 in Africa, Modern day Africa or lots of other periods. Terry |

Another very positive review of the product. link Please jump in and help get this off the ground! They have a few days left. Everything I've read in the way of reviews is extremely positive. Help put these great terrain pieces on the table. Terry |

I think their KS thing crashed out, but they're still selling product. hallowedgroundterrain.com I have my eye on some of it once I've got some time and more of my other projects done. Will be good for both my FOW stuff and some of my less developed scifi settings. |
