I used Copplestone's cavemen figures as well as some of the foundry bearskin berserkers. Here is a blog post for my 13th warrior project from a while back. link

Well after watching The 13th Warrior for the 3rd or 4th time in the last 2 weeks(it's in heavy rotation on Showtime), I was focusing on the Wendol first. Any Dark Age Warriors will work for 12 of the 13. And one thing I noticed they had an eclectic array of armor. My guess is the thought behind the costuming is they scavenged armor as they traveled south. Hence some of the more exotic armor. Or the prop dept used whatever they had lying around. It could be fun trying to make some Dark Age conversions for the 13. I know Eureka has 2 sets of the not-13. A static pose set and an action pose set. Xin. By the way, The 13th Warrior was made for 160 million according to Box Office Mojo. What they hell did they spend it on? The director John McTierna was pulled from the final cut and Michael Crichton stepped in to "save the day". |
