"Khurasan 6mm update" Topic

Today I received the 6mm exterminators safe and sound.

I will be having their APC, the caiman, and their little "ute," the Polecat, reduced to 6mm size and printed to go with them.

I also just commissioned 13 poses of JTFB in 6mm scale to go with the MDMS vehicles. They are one of the best known users of these vehicles.

So which of my 15mm ranges would you like to see next in 6mm?

I'd like to see the 70's Russians in 15mm :)

Progress on them is completely separate. They are in the hands of the painter and mouldmaker. I'd like to see them myself!

Hrmm…I'd like to see anything that is jointly used in the Slammerverse in 6mm.

Although, the Red Faction (Doe) VTOL Gunship and Advanced Superheavy Grav Tank would be very close seconds (bonus if you make a good APC to go along with the latter).

All of the federal tanks (including and especially the Siler and XM-6), DIMOG variants, and APC. Some Federal troopers wouldn't be a bad idea, either. :)

And then there's the PA-3…

Felids, especially bikes. You're the best, Khurasan.

Another vote for the Federals including the Siler, Samson, and Crusader APC, same for the NovaRepublik with the BTR3000, and of course the Federal infantry figures. How about the Space Demons? Felids would be good to see.

While I would like to see most of your existing 15mm ranges in 6mm as well, the Federals and the Control battalions are high on my list!!

Yep the Garn and how about the Mekinoids! Love to see the giant bug tank in 6mm. I have the 15mm one and it is a beautiful model.

Just FYI … CinC makes 6mm Felinoids and Old Crow make 6mm Slammer AFVs and GZG NAC makes good Slammer Grunts. But back on topic, I'm sure many would look forward to more 6mm Alien types from Khurasans larger lines …

6mm Space Demons for the Exterminators to exterminate.

I would love to see the Federal Army, to fight the Red Faction, followed closely by Space Demons for the Exterminators. Failing that, just some artillery or more/varied vehicles for the Neo-Soviet would be good.

Space Demons would be the obvious one.

Do you mean you received the masters or you received the castings and I should totally send in a rescue team to retrieve them?

Rescue team? No way! Nuke the site from orbit – it's the only way to be sure.

Personally, anything in 15 mm that could be used for Venusian VSF games would be my first preference. That is either a little or a large list depending on your imagination.

I like those Vornid Plant men figures … those would be cool in 6mm … could be used for terrain too … in either 15 or 6mm … @ Recovered 1AO… FYI … they already have a huge 15mm sci-fi line link … that's why many want to see them in 6mm …

Lion class heavy attack transport and Doe are my two biggest priorities by far.

Next down would be the Felid range. The Hunter and Cafferata would be next (though I think the grav/wheel transition would be fiddly.. maybe just keep the wheels out and include a little rod to use for a hover base).

Finally, the Atlas modular gun tractor. Apart from GZG's line (which while fine are a bit long in the tooth at this point), it's been a while since we've had modular vehicles in this scale.

I'm trying to think about what will be really unique at this scale.

Jon, I'd also suggest going to taccoms, where the E40k players congregate. They're mostly a nice bunch and give good ideas. Check out Onslaught Miniatures and Troublemaker Games threads to see how the advice and constructive criticism have helped their lines.

I already posted this thread on Tac Cmd … just doing my job … link But the crew loves visits from 6mm sci-fi company honchos ! And all versions of Epic are there as well as others games/rules/figures, etc. … And as noted, Onslaught, TMP, Exodus Wars, CinC and others are denizens of Tac Cmd …

Here's the thread I posted on Tac Cmd – link [I posted the same link in my comment above.] At this time I have no other intel … but hopefully Khurasan may do as other 6mm sci-fi model companies have done and become a frequent denizen of Tac Cmd …

I am waiting to hear when Khurasan Miniatures will ask, what would you like to see in .1mm . But…but I can't see them. Come on really…you can't see .1mm. Bah…you must be getting old.

You know, that last one has always confused me. If you have grav technology, why hybridize it with wheels? Anyway. The colossal mech would be nice in 6mm I must say.

I much prefer "Mechs" with tracks than legs … Of course I still think a WWII German P.1000 RATTE would be great in 6mm …

I really love my 15mm Felids, but I can't believe they would really have the same character in 6mm. For that reason I would prefer to see Space Demons than most other 15mm ranges. They are so distinctive.

I'm not saying no character, just not the same. It is clear that you are painting to a very high standard and can get more out of your 6mm than many people, and I am not a bad painter, just not a good one. I love my Felids in15mm, but I just wouldn't buy them in 6mm for the reason stated.

I see … thank you … All I do is 6mm … so I have a predilection for companies to release 6mm sci-fi stuff … And of course many of my other 6mm Sci-fi brethern feel the same …
