Dreamblade Repainted

Hundvig Fezian is not a real big fan of pre-painted minis, and he positively despises randomly-packed "collectable" ones - so why is he writing this article?

Does anybody make prone Russian casualty figures for WWII?

I have a couple of the Marx Soviet officer casualty figures -- the fellow running in helmet askew with pistol overhead being shot on the run; which I use as "Disordered" markers for my Russian squads in skirmish games.

I was hoping to find a few Soviet prone casualty figures to paint up as "Routed" markers for units that fail their morale tests.

I have considered chopping up some Soviet standing figures to make my own prone casualties, but it seems something of a shame to ruin good figures that way.

For casualtys, do they really have to be Russian figures? Why not just take crawling figures and paint them in appropriate colors?

nnascati -- thank you for the suggestion. I'll give it a try!
