"In a rural village there were between one and five elders who were answerable directly to the local Gôshi (Country Samurai). A Village Elder was a wealthy Honbyakushô (literally-First Farmer) and his home would match his status. This house has twice the footprint of our Peasant Farmer's Cottage and as befits a man of such status it has an integral stable in the lower ‘Doma', along with a screened bedroom at the other end of the building on the 'Hiroma' for the elder and his wife, accessed through a 'Shoji' panelled door"

Certainly the best for effort to looks ratio. Oshiro stuff is pretty damn good too, however you do have to paint them yourself. |
