I'm getting into Check Your 6, and have bought a bunch of stuff. These are the two aircraft I'm kicking off with. Anyone have a good source for which Vallejo paints I will need for North African ops? I will be building up a full set for the CY6 book "Falcon of the Duce" so I'll be back for more paint numbers as I work my way through the book. Blenheim IVs and a Short Sunderland (A beast of a model in 1/300) will be up for paint after the fighters. Ta. |

For RAF desert camo I use 125 desert yellow, 135 beige brown (sometimes mixed with a bit of 134 tan earth to lighten it), and 67 sky blue undersides. I haven't done Italians yet, but a look here should get you some inspiration: link |
