This (originally Airfix) kit has been around for decades, and still regularly appears on model railway layouts. Can be converted into a lot of other things, too. |

Dapol have all the Airfix trackside buildings – the thatched cottage and country pub are useful items. Years ago Terry Wise did a series of articles on converting the buildings (in Airfix Magazine – late 1960s, early 1970s IIRC). My favourite was his building an American western town from the modern garage and the signal box ! Looked good too. |

I'd guess that the most likely source in the USA would be if they are available through model railway stockists. |
