So, last night I went to my local club and had a 2,000 point game of 40K. It was one of the hardest fought and closest run games I've had in a long, long time. I hope you'll enjoy reading the AAR!

I really like "first person perspective" AARs that focuses on the battle as viewed by a participant, with the game mechanics conveyed in live-action descriptors – thought that was what was coming after the first paragraph.

Ah, well – Looked like a tough battle.

BUT I have to say the dominance of sideways pics REALLY throws off the visual. Just sayin'

You really needed more grunts and less vehicles.

less minis on the table all around.

True or a far bigger table.

Plus if you are going to bring a Mech Force the key to Victory is to move them and not sit in a corner.

A Chimera is dirt cheaper and one should have been used as bait to draw out those guys on the beasts.

Move it forward and wait until they close assault and destroy it.

Then see how well they can dance.
