Very pleased with how these came out -- hope to have them up sale for soon. They are at the casters presently.

It's 12 tribeslizards (six hand weapon and six spears) plus four commanders. These are the iconic lizardman savage types, but I love lizardmen and plan to make more for other time periods as well.

Ooh, those are nice, and would look great fighting the British and or Germans in the Venusian swamps!

Very classic, and they would look at home on Venus (as mentioned above) or in a fantasy army fighting some conquistadors :)

CATenWolde29 Apr 2014 9:54 a.m. PST

Perfect!

kallman29 Apr 2014 9:58 a.m. PST

Those are just sublime!

Spudeus29 Apr 2014 10:22 a.m. PST

Ooh, captures the old school look really well!

I know Khurasan has salamen as the reptile 'light infantry' – will we be seeing heavy infantry also?

Ron W DuBray29 Apr 2014 1:03 p.m. PST

would love them with modern looking guns and modern looking back packs and web gear :) They would make an awesome WWII invasion force vs 28mm WWII humans :)

AWWWWSOOOMMEEE!!!!!

Eli Arndt29 Apr 2014 3:24 p.m. PST

Wow, absolutely as fantastic as I hoped they would be.

Beautiful miniatures.
When they will be avalaible to order?
They are of the same size of the previous lizrdman release, the myst code?

Carpet General30 Apr 2014 2:41 a.m. PST

Really nice, they remind me of the old Runequest cover.

khurasanminiatures30 Apr 2014 4:47 a.m. PST

Lorenzo, they are a little bigger.

Emphatz30 Apr 2014 4:52 a.m. PST

These look fantastic, I will be ordering some when I can, keep up the great work.

LorenzoMele30 Apr 2014 5:10 a.m. PST

I will order some too.
These new figures, the old lizs and the salamander mix well for a gorgeous reptilian army.

I really do hate you Kurasan. I think I'm going to need to take out a second mortgage because of you! meanie!
;)

Those look like they would sit nicely with my Chariot Miniatures lizardmen.

Great classic-looking 'savage' tribal lizardmen! As you may remember, I would definitely be interested in a range of soldiers/warriors for a 'civilized ancient' lizardman army, as well.

Cheers,
Scott

Do you think you may ever expand the Salaman? Maybe a couple more personality type to make a command stand and perhaps some more melee guys other than javelins?

The lizardmen are fantastic and I definitely plan to get some on once released.

I could see mixing the two together. Salaman for archers and skirmishers (foot and cavalry) with Lizard men as the line infantry. I'm thinking the Lizardmen in charge with the Salaman as allies or subjugated conscripts. It would be nice to have a couple more poses for the Salaman.

These are superb, Jon. You've outdone yourself again…evil grin

Agree 100% – the Salamanders are excellent sculpts, and make outstanding 'auxiliaries' for a Lizardman army.

Scott

For additional weirdness, I think I might add in units of frogmen and snakemen from other manufacturers. Bow before the Pax Reptilicus!

Psyckosama01 May 2014 5:44 p.m. PST

Have you considered a line of cave people to go up against them?

Jon,

Both my gaming daughters gave these lizardmen a resounding "Squeeeeee!!!"

I have been waiting for something like this for a while, I feel a lizard man army coming on.

Heinz Good Aryan19 May 2014 5:11 a.m. PST

those are cool. any cavalry?

khurasanminiatures19 May 2014 8:51 a.m. PST

We thought about cavalry, but they're not really central to high fantasy lizardmen so they may be a future release.

Eli Arndt19 May 2014 11:03 a.m. PST

Yeah the only references I recall from classic RPG sources were mentions of lizardmen sometimes riding giant swamp lizards.

Might make for an impressive hero/leader type at least as a one off.

totalmech19 May 2014 11:13 a.m. PST

Im asking are they one piece castings or separated shields?

TwinMirror06 Jun 2014 4:59 a.m. PST

Superb lizardmen!

How tall are they in mm?

I'd like to use them with 20mm fantasy, so I'm hoping that since lizardmen are tall, they'd still be at least man height vs 1/72 /20mm humans.
