Hello, this is my first post in the forum. Great material by the way, congratulations to all for such a big forum.

Recently, I'm searching for psykers or sci-fi mages, but the only figures I'm finding are the GW models, that, frankly, doesn't fit in the image that I'm looking for.

I lookng for something like this:

(Much more interesting)

Can anyone help me to find simmilar psykers?

Thank you in advance

You might try looking through the 'Cobalt' range, there's some interesting stuff in there.

I forget who sells it in the USA.

You could look at the Godslayer Mortan Technofex (I think that is his/it's name)when released – within the next few months. Might work for you (Megalith Games)

Katwerks27 Apr 2014 2:37 p.m. PST

Will you be using them in an established setting or one of your making?

Drawler28 Apr 2014 6:57 a.m. PST

Hello.

Thank you for the recommentadions. I forgot to say I'm in Europe, so there is no problem with the 'Cobalt Range'.

In this range there is no 'psyker' miniaure directly, but it is an interesting option anyway.

Katwerks, I'm using my own setting. It's a variant of the Two Hour Wargammes, with psi powers.

Any more recommendations?

Drawler.

Hi, I've been looking for pysker-mages too, and there aren't that many options.
One possibility is to use monks and more streamlined fantasy mages, with a headswap or bit of tech added.

I did however get this Jedi-esque figure from CP Models:

and I used this Sith-style Mageknight necromancer from Ral Partha, although I had to cut his skull necklace, which was a bit of a job, and required a bit of greenstuff reworking afterwards to get a smooth hemline to his cowl:

But if anyone knows any spot-on figures, I'd also like to know!

I just remembered there are lots of good candidates at Rezolution Miniatures.
Due to their web set-up, I can only post links, not images:

Yeah, there should be some great stuff in the Rezolution figure line!

Definitely, I've been intending to get some for a while now.
Any idea what Aberrant Games' shipping rates are like, Lion?

The cobalt range semms quite good, I think that IŽll get some of these.

Here I found another possibility;

The miniature range is "Last Saga", they are going to start a kickstarter to their miniatures range on May. This one looks very promising. I'll weep an eye to their progress, thoung I'm only interested int this mini at the moment.

Here is one in the Four A miniatures range which might work.

TwinMirror05 May 2014 8:29 a.m. PST

Yep. That cloaked figure is perfect for a sci fi mage or psyker – in fact, I went and bought him!

Drawler09 May 2014 6:27 a.m. PST

Found another good miniature!!
