I'm looking for figures with telescopes, 19th/20th Century, for bridge crew, officers or not, merchant marine flavour.

Weapons matter not, I'm capable of mild conversions.

Whacking great uber long Kriegsmarine binos would work too!

Anybody that could pass as Pulp nautical, so most Napoleonic and earlier officer types are out.

I'd prefer individual figures, but if the pack's interesting enough…

If you happen to have somebody useful I can acquire, so the much better. Beyond cash I have little enough to trade.

except books, oh yeah, books we got….

Thanks up front for your suggestions, and offers…

Take a look at coffee stir sticks. There are several different styles (including doubles that make great binos and goggles (when sliced thin)) and diameters (some even nest like a well … telescoping telescope), and they're cheap (sold lots of places and you can even steal … er … dynamically appropriate them … from fast food establishments). Very amenable for mild conversion work. All my swabbies use em!

Askari miniatures or Redoubt have some figs which might be suitable if 28mm is your scale.

I just found two naval figures with telescopes. Will send to you for price of postage, I think I will never use them. Do not remember the maker. Here is a picture with new Tsuba sailor and Old Glory . They are on the husky side.

Me too. That's why I have so many coffee stir sticks given to me at restaurants, etc. to use in crafting. You can, but you really need not ever buy any. One stick goes a long way in 28mm.

Enjoy!

They are on the husky side.

Sailor. On the husky side. No problem! :)
