Who has used 6mm figs in 3mm games as infantry markers ? Im thinking along the lines of a 6mm figure as a marker on a base with a micro dice on it to denote how many are in the squad.

With O8's figure quality I've just stuck with 3mm infantry. Your idea has merit though…somewhat like fighter group stands.

Have not tried your idea but I have used 6mm figures as command types for 3mm games. Did not like it and went back to stands with some type of command vehicle.

I have not done this with 3mm/6mm but have done it with 6mm/15mm and it works pretty well.

That's kind of the way it is in OGRE … the Infantry is closer to 10-12mm, out of scale with the other models … but do what works for you. I don't see any problem with it … BTW, GZG has some nice 2mm Infantry … link
