For anyone in the Pittsburgh area, Tiny Wars Fought Indoors is a gaming group that meets the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at Legions Hobbies & Games,1130 Perry Highway, Pines Plaza Shopping Center,Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
Purpose of the club is to have fun gaming. Winning is not the idea. Members help each other, even the "other side". There are 20 different rules systems used that are in the rotation. Games are run by members in a rotation so that scenarios are not repeated. Periods cover land, air and sea across time periods. Games last no longer than 3 1/2 hrs. Anyone can add their own game to the game list if they wish. There are no dues. You do not have to have figures to participate. No minimum number of games to attend. No experience is needed – one will be "taught" the game.
