I know that MiniFigs UK have a Pershing and Sherman E2 in their 12mm range, but what I am truly looking for are prepainted vehicles in the 1/144-1/150 range. Are there such things? Are the Panzer Depot tanks prepainted? Are there other options? Thanks in advance for your help! link |

Yes, Panzer Depot are pre-painted. I have several. Nice tanks. |

That is good news! But perhaps there are still other companies out there as well? |

Bit basic, but ok for gaming: link Panzer Depot are nicer, but probably good idea to replace barrels, I had some of their early production Cromwells and they arrived with broken barrels. Trumpeter do nice stuff, but I think their Ww2 is mainly German, as is the Takara range – I think they are marketed as " World Tank Museum" . I have half a dozen Shermans somewhere that I got off EBay, but cannot remember make. |

I don't know of any Korean era pre-paints except Panzer Depot. WTM made the M4A1 Sherman that Dave linked to, but not the M4A3E8 "Easy Eight" that was used in Korea. Besides Minifigs, the only other Easy Eights I have found are the ones in the Pegasus Hobbies War of the Worlds diorama. |

If you can stand to paint green, dark gray, and ink, the Minifig tanks are really good. The barrel on the Chaffee is kinda hard to place but I have a tremor which makes small work difficult sometimes. The M4A3E2 Jumbo is smack dab on. Really nice model. The Pershing I've seen but don't own, (not enough in WWII to get me to buy some)looks good. The painting on American tanks is really minimal. a shovel here, a tarp there. and on these particular tanks pretty straight up. Best of luck with your project however you go. |

Excellent, thanks for the info, guys. Looks like Panzer Depot may be the way for me to go as I am trying to avoid as much painting as possible, even with the simplistic schemes the Americans used. |
