I was just wondering what other people think of using Burago Lamborginis as cars for Future War gaming. I have found some really cheap and which come in several different colours.

My regular gaming opponent poured cold water on the idea but I quite like the look of them. The alternative is really expensive resin vehicles which are not really available at the moment. It's me that is providing the toys so I would be happy to go the cheap route.

If it works for you, why not? Back in the Before Times, I used Lamborghini Diablo snap-tite models with modifications as Rhino equivalents for my Eldar, they were about the same size as the original Rhino kits. Worked like a charm.

Well I bought another Lambo as I really like them anyway. I think the real issue is I am looking at a Future War setting where as my mate is probably thinking Sci Fi.

I watched Elysium recently which was great inspiration for me.

Not Burago's, but can we say "enough said" or do we need more? :-)

Hey, I like that Judge Dredd Car. Maybe the wings are a bit too much though?

D A THB, well as for the wings i look at it this way. Remember that car flies not just hover. So it is going to need some way to make turns. Stubby wings were the way they went with it.

Just take the wheels off and replace them with ducted fans or anti-grav panels or something. Voila -- instant hovercars!

I think you can buy the grav panels that GZG makes for their grav tanks separately. Might be worth dropping them a line at jon@gzg.com to see if that's the case.
