When was the Saladin phased out of the British Army? |

Mid to late 70s in BAOR – the Scorpion started replacing them from 1973. RAF regiment didn't get Scorpions until '81, so presumably still had Saladins until then, while British forces on Cyprus were still using Saladins in the mid '80s. |

I understand the TA Yeomanry Regiments, BAOR roled, continued using them well into the80's until they were replaced by Fox CVR(W)
also with Saracens to carry the dismounts

Thank you Sparker. I was looking for a loophole that would allow me to use Saladins and Saracens in a 1981 Germany scenario. |

You won't be alone
although mine will be serving in 1983-5! Yeomanry Regiments suffered more than most from defence cuts and amalgamations, but I think both the Queen's Own Yeomanry and Royal Yeomanry had these AFV's and were BAOR roled units up to 1985 at least
