Great work from a team drawn from the Women's Institute, Boy Scouts and the local undertaker have resulted in the addition of a formidable new weapon to the Volunteer's inventory.

The Small Ordnance Discharger (Elastic Powered) promises to make a major contribution to the on-going struggle to ensure the Golden Valley's security and tranquility.

Only one word can describe this

Brilliant!

I should have added that this weapon was provided for the Volunteers by my good friend Tim Peterson, aka Gisby, to whom I and Sir Gilbert send our heartfelt thanks.

Very creative. With the W I involved, are the projectiles then jars of jam?

Tarleton21 Apr 2014 8:44 a.m. PST

Lovely.

I must say it was good of the Women's Institute to sacrifice all that elastic!!

Ooo… Jars of boiling jam… Nasty (and possibly a war crime).

Doug em4miniatures21 Apr 2014 9:31 a.m. PST

There are many apsects of the way the Pontrilas WI wage war that probably constitute war crimes. Boilng jam ain't the half of it….

Fruit Cake.

Skrapwelder, if you're venturing into noxious substances that will ensure a virulent retaliation, why not smear the fruitcake with Marmite? There won't be enough survivors to tell the tale!

Skrapwelder,

Doug maybe a little eccentric but I think that's going a little far…. :-)

Having played a few games with Doug… No. It isn't…
