I noticed that the Uma-Jirushi of Katagiri Katsumoto of Steel Fist(SAM 9) is identical to the one of Niwa Nagahide who served Oda Nabunaga. Am I wrong ?
And by the way : was Evalerio not busy writing on a book ? What is the situation, because I am (very) eager to buy it, whatever the reviews.

The Uma-jirushi of Katagiri Katsumoto and Niwa Nagahide are of the same type. Both are illustrated in the first page of Samurai Heraldry in the Samurai Forum. The difference is that the Niwa is like a full grown tree, while the Katagiri is smaller with fewer and shorter branches. The Yamauchi has an even smaller one as a tsukaiban sashimono.

Just now returning to the book, having had to put them aside from time to time with work sculpting for Kingsford Miniatures and the occasional artwork for bookcovers:

Working on the Samurai Heraldry book is often overwhelming. Time away from it recharges me to get back to it, but I often have to 'relearn' reading Japanese.

Evalerio , thank you very much for your response. You seem to be extremely busy. But please : DO NOT FORGET YOUR BOOK.
Iam pretty sure I am not the oly one eagerly awaiting it.
